Founded in 1993, Basiliade is a nonprofit born out of the fight against AIDS, whose primary mission is to welcome and support the most vulnerable people facing social and health precarity.
The Maison du Chemin Vert provides outpatient care. In addition to the support offered to people through housing schemes, BASILIADE also supports people without housing, within the framework of medico-psychosocial care. This support is substantial (200 people supported by BASILIADE each year in France), and is aimed at people who, for the most part, do not fall within the scope of ordinary law. Outpatient support is tailored to each person's needs, to enable those affected by HIV/AIDS and hepatitis to remain on a care pathway suited to their needs.
