About
Contact's aims are:
to help families and friends understand and accept the sexual orientation and/or gender identity of their loved ones,
to help lesbian, gay, bi and trans people communicate with their parents and those around them by providing the understanding needed to accept themselves,
to combat discrimination, and in particular that which lesbian, gay, bi and trans people, or those perceived as such, may experience,
to prevent suicide and risk-taking behaviours related to sexual orientation and/or gender identity.
