Afro-Caribbean non-gendered partner dance space for a dance that looks like us
Danser Nos Vies, a space for passing on and sharing a passion for Afro-Caribbean partner dances, and in particular Cuban salsa, bachata and kizomba, through classes and technical workshops.
It was born out of a desire to free bodies so that they can experience partner dancing by fully breaking free from the weight of heteronormativity and its dangers.
The Queer Salsa Paris community, launched on Instagram in 2020, has helped make inclusive Afro-Caribbean partner dancing more visible in France and build bridges between queer dancers in Paris and internationally renowned queer dancers through group trips to masterclasses and queer festivals abroad.
Today, the mission of Danser Nos Vies is to enable everyone to experience dance in their own way, in alignment with their truth, their victories and their challenges.
