Open since 2009, the Bouches-du-Rhône branch is actively engaged with the young people it supports, thanks to the ongoing commitment of 2 specialist support workers, a psychologist, and a team of volunteers. Its transitional flats, located in the city centre of Marseille, can welcome 9 young people. Two collective drop-in sessions punctuate the branch's weekly life, covering a variety of themes (meetings with guests, cultural outings, nutrition workshops, physical activities, partner presentations, board games, walks in the region…). The young people are seen daily by the specialist support workers, who listen to them, guide them, and support them with all their social, professional, and administrative steps. Volunteers take turns at the day centre and in the transitional flats throughout the week, spending a warm and meaningful moment of exchange with the young people whilst ensuring that daily communal life runs smoothly.
