Opened in 2012, the Haute-Garonne branch can today welcome 8 young people in 4 transitional flats made available by Toulouse city council. We also support a number of young people outside of accommodation. The entire team (staff and volunteers) mobilises to support them in their administrative, social and professional processes, and to help them build a daily life in which they can best embrace their difference(s). In addition to the weekly appointment with the social worker and the "professional integration" workshop run by volunteers, key sessions are offered to them each week: on Tuesdays, a cookery workshop followed by a meal (to which a nutrition workshop is added on Friday mornings), and on Thursday evenings, where various activities are offered such as meetings/debates, games, cultural outings or sports activities outside… A team of volunteers takes turns visiting the young people in their flats every day, to share a friendly moment of exchange with them whilst ensuring that daily communal life runs smoothly.
