Point Éphémère is a centre for artistic dynamics. Its project combines artist residencies, public outreach and active intervention in the city. It is led by the team at Usines Éphémères, which for twenty years has been transforming derelict buildings into temporary artistic spaces. This centre for artistic dynamics opened on 13 October 2004. It puts in place the resources necessary for artist residencies (visual artists, musicians, dancers, set designers) and tools for public recognition of their work. Since its opening, Point Éphémère has welcomed artists into spaces dedicated to residency (4 artists' studios, 1 dance studio, 5 music rehearsal studios) and offers an extensive programme of exhibitions, shows, concerts, parties, talks, workshops, unusual events…
