Travel agency

The hospitality charter.

We sell no stay that has not signed this text. No label to buy, no online self-declaration: a commitment signed by management, checked by us, withdrawn at the first breach. That is the difference between “gay-friendly” on a website and a quiet night’s sleep.

Four commitments, eight promises

Welcome and non-discriminationTrans and non-binary guestsSafety and incidentsCommercial commitment
  1. 1

A double bed stays a double bed

Two people of the same gender who book a double room get the room they booked. No questions, no looks, no convenient “mistake” with twin beds on arrival.

  2. 2

    Nobody has to explain themselves

Staff never ask about the nature of a relationship, never comment on someone’s appearance, voice or clothes. Same-sex parents are welcomed like any other family.

  3. 3

    Chosen name, no debate

The name and gender given at booking are the ones used out loud and on visible documents. No proof of legal name change is ever required.

  4. 4

    Discretion with documents

Where ID is required by law, the check happens away from other guests, nothing is read aloud, and the gender marker is never commented on. Shared spaces — spa, sauna, changing rooms — are open according to the person’s identity.

  5. 5

    A named contact

One member of the team is appointed and reachable for any anti-LGBTQIA+ incident. Reception knows who they are, day and night.

  6. 6

    Incidents are handled, not buried

A guest making an anti-LGBTQIA+ remark or gesture is warned, moved or asked to leave — never the person targeted. From a staff member: disciplinary action. Either way, the agency is told within 48 hours.

  7. 7

    Clear rates and conditions

A negotiated rate for our travellers, cancellation terms at least as flexible as the equivalent public rate, and an agency commission agreed in advance.

  8. 8

    The charter can be lost

Every report is investigated. A serious breach, or two consistent reports left uncorrected, removes the property from our catalogue and our pages immediately.

How we check

  • Signed by management, not by a marketing department.
  • A visit or an interview before going live, then a yearly review.
  • Every traveller gets a reporting link after their stay.
  • The charter is public: travellers know exactly what was promised.

What you get

  • Visibility with international travellers who pick their destination on precisely this criterion.
  • Longer stays and fewer cancellations: a reassured guest books earlier and comes back.
  • A welcome text translated into eight languages, usable in your own communication.
  • Complaints raised with you first, rather than posted on social media.

For the property’s management only. We reply within 5 working days, after an interview or a visit.
