Same city, two faces. At dusk the façades light up and the queues vanish. Eight views not to miss between 10 pm and 2 am, and for each one the community's addresses within a ten-minute walk.
1Eiffel Tower
Sparkles on the hour, every hour
11 pm: the last quiet hour at the top, then the midnight sparkle.
2Arc de Triomphe
Rooftop open until 11 pm
9:30 pm: the sky turns violet and the car headlights draw the star.
3Palais Garnier
Golden façade · place de l'Opéra
10:30–11:30 pm: the crowd leaving the show, then the square emptying.
4Notre-Dame
Forecourt · Île de la Cité
10 pm: the forecourt almost empty, the river boats sweeping the façade.
5Sacré-Cœur
Sunrise from the steps
Two options: 11 pm for the city lit up, or 6:30 am for sunrise while the tourists are still asleep.
6Louvre Pyramid
Cour Napoléon · until 1 am
11 pm: the Cour Napoléon to yourselves, the pyramid glowing from below.
7Hôtel de Ville
Place de l'Hôtel-de-Ville · 11 pm
11 pm: the square empties, the façade stays lit, the Marais starts to overflow.
8Champs-Élysées
Illuminations until 2 am
Midnight: the shops close and the avenue becomes a promenade.
